The Biomedical Computer Vision (BMCV) group successfully participated in the 1st Cell Tracking Challenge held at the IEEE International Symposium on Biomedical Imaging (ISBI) 2013 in San Francisco, USA. There, an international competition of different methods for tracking cells in time-resolved microscopy images was performed. The cell tracking method of Nathalie Harder and Karl Rohr from the BMCV group was among the two best approaches. The results of the challenge were now published in a joint article in the journal Bioinformatics.
