A short film highlighting the cutting-edge cryo-electron microscopy (cryo-EM) work on viruses by Chlanda's Lab at BioQuant was recently featured on the prominent science program nano on 3sat.

Produced by a professional media team at BioQuant, the film offers a compelling and accessible insight into how cryo-EM is used to visualize viruses at nanometer resolution—a key tool in understanding viral mechanisms and developing future therapeutic strategies.

The outreach initiative is part of the group’s efforts under their new funding Horizon EU “DEFENDER” project, which focuses on innovative approaches to combat viral infections.
