We are thrilled to announce that two doctoral researchers from Bischofs' Lab at BioQuant have been recognized for their outstanding scientific contributions at different microbiology conferences:

• Rebecca Schira received the Best Talk Award at the 11th European Spores Conference for her presentation "Passive but dynamic: quantifying bioelectric changes in single dormant spores responding to external pH and salts".
• Max Kilian was honored with a Best Poster Presentation Award at the Annual Meeting of the VAAM (Vereinigung für Allgemeine und Angewandte Mikrobiologie), for his poster "Observation and control of sporulation failures in Bacillus subtilis.".
