From Innovation to Collaboration
The Advanced Biological Screening Facility has been established in 2007 at BioQuant as one of the first CellNetworks Core Facilities. The facility is well-equipped with state-of-the art high-content screening instruments along with long-term experience in the field of microscopy-based gene perturbance screenings.
With support of the Advanced Biological Screening Facility customers can carry out research projects including medium and large-scale screens, e.g. genome-wide RNAi and CRISPR-based. The facility offers customers the infrastructure and support in screening assay development, automated sample preparation and high-throughput solid phase transfection with siRNAs and gRNAs on well plates or cell arrays. In addition, the facility provides access to automated pipetting robots and high-throughput microscopy platforms and helps to set up the conditions, which are suitable for automated data evaluation.
